Praise the Lord!! Our snow is gone! It's off the streets and is slowing melting away off the sidewalks. I am crossing my little fingers that, that snow/ice storm was our one and only for the year.
Being stuck in the house for 3 whole days with these cuties, made me think .. How do parents survive in places where snow never goes away all Winter .. Because frankly, I'd go crazy! I had to asked the boy what he did since he grew up in Michigan, where the snow falls during Winter. He said he'd just spend hours outside building in the snow, and also that the streets were better prepped and prepared for snow! Still ... I'd rather be hot and sweaty, then frozen and cold!
Carson was too cute .. He'd bundle himself all up, and go play for 15 minutes then come inside to thaw out .... 15 minutes later he'd bundle himself all back up! He LOVES snow.
Oliver and I would watch from the warmth of fireplace. Oliver did go out a few times, but he would never play, his form of playing was opening and closing the slider door .. That was not going to work, so we ran around and played hide and seek.
It was great to get out and about yesterday with my Mom, we were dying to get out! The rest of the day was spent relaxing, catching up on a few things, and then watching these boys in the evening. Now I'm thinking I'll bake something for the blog this week ... If only I knew what to bake!
