My Step dad is British. Just kidding, as I wrote that he actually corrected me, he's English. I guess there's a difference. :) Whatever the case he has an accent that is a mix between English/Australian, people never get it right where he's from ... Maybe it's because he left England when he was 18 to travel the World ... Whatever the case, he is English and he cracks me up daily, so I thought I'd share with you some of his quirkiness.
- If you thought my picky eating was well .. picky .. this guy, is the king is pickiness.
-He's a vegetarian, a skinny vegetarian.
-Many nights I'll smell his go to meal "Chip Buddies." What are those you may ask? Well .. Its a french roll, or some type of heavy duty bread, with cheese and french fries on top .. it is then put into the oven and browned then made into a sandwich!! Cheese. Bread. Fries, what's better then that?
-Other items of food he loves; Chips, he puts about three types into a container and eats them, he especially loves the crumbs! Cheesy Bunnies as he calls them; Trader Joe Bunny Crackers. Suckers but he calls them Lollies. Pizza, loves pizza. Bagels, he eats a bagel a day. Soda, also known by Dave as "Fizzy Pop," after he runs he takes a big swig of this! Beer, Stella to be exact.
-He eats at super strange hours of the day ... Dinner is at 9pm, which use to be 11pm.
-Coffee ... Well, he LOVES 7-11 coffee... Because they always have weird flavors such as; Banana and Raspberry! gross gross gross!
-He believes wearing Camo and Plaid Shirts is stylish. Mom and I had to do an intervention on his outfit one time ... That went over well, as he still wears his camo pants and plaid shirts with his bright orange watch!
-Unlike many people who spend there time on their phone; texting, facebook, pinterest, tweeting ... With in 5 minutes of getting his iPod Touch, he had dowloaded this game called "Swampy" .. It's not really called Swampy, but if you've noticed he has a nickname for everything!!
-He believes his glasses he wears to do some of his work makes him smarter.
-He is English so he loves his "footy" also known as futbal or well .. soccer.
-He is obsessed .. Like might get a bit upset if we forget to record "Real Housewives"!! It's hilarious, him and I love to talk about it .. And my mom just rolls her eyes, she thinks we're crazy for watching it.
-At night him and my Mom watched recorded shows of "The Price is Right," and they just watched the show case showdown ... And from upstairs I can hear his famous "clap," this clap starts quiet and then becomes very loud .. A video needs to be made of this!
Alright .... I could go on and on and on, but I won't! This was so fun, and as I read this back to him and my mom I started crying of laughter, and so did she! I do love him, {pretty sure he was terrified of me for the first 4 years of their relationship} and he makes my mom SO happy! They are two peas in a pod.
My nightlife would be so lame with out the two of them! Gotta live this up before I am not their tenant anymore!
